A cairn is a man-made stone monument used as a landmark designated to recognize several things; one purpose of cairns is to act as a guide leading followers through wild territory. Hikers, bikers, and walkers complete a course by following cairns through mountains, fields, and valleys, moving from one cairn to the next.
On a Cairn Stone Adventure Tours trip with Ron Gunn you will follow cairns through the munros and glens of the Scottish highlands, volcanoes and tropical forests of Hawai'i, and across the Colorado River and through the prehistoric layers of rock in the Grand Canyon.
